Sangster International Airport (MBJ) is located just 25 minutes from Round Hill Hotel & Villas. Most major airlines offer direct or connecting flights to MBJ. Flights are available and may fill up fast. Please book your travel as soon as possible.
COVID-19 Testing
Jamaica Arrival Protocol:
Everyone traveling to Jamaica must fill out a Travel Authorization document. This is required for check-in and boarding and the airlines will not allow passengers to board without it. To obtain a Travel Authorization document, you may visit travelauth.visitjamaica.com anytime within the 7-day period before your intended date of travel to Jamaica. Along with an approved Travel Authorization form prior to boarding a flight to Jamaica, ALL travellers ages 12 and up, regardless of nationality, are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 Antigen or PCR test for which the sample was collected within 3 days of the travel date.
US Arrival Protocol:
The CDC has advised that as of January 26, 2021 all air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 3 days before their departure date when boarding their flight.
Round Hill is able to make arrangements for guests to undergo a rapid antigen COVID-19 test while on property. The tests are administered by a local medical practitioner and the process is quick and easy.
Antigen Test – result same day| cost US$100 per person
PCR test – result in 48 hours | cost US$200 per person
The tests may be done daily 10:30am – 11:30am and an appointment must be made in advance. Appointments outside of the 10:30am – 11:30am period will attract a consultation fee of US$100.

Note: For guests flying/arriving on Thursday, November 11th and departing Sunday, November 14th, a rapid antigen test taken on Thursday (in the US or Jamaica) can be used to fill the requirements since it is within the 3 day timeframe per the CDC. There is rapid testing at majority of airports. A self-test (at home test) can be used as well if they meet certain criteria. For more information, please visit cdc.gov/coronavirus.
PROCEDURE IF A GUEST TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
In the event that a guest tests positive he/she will be placed in Round Hill’s isolation cottage. There is no regular housekeeping service or food and beverage service available in the isolation cottage, however, clean linen and meals in disposable packaging will be dropped off. There is no charge for the accommodation however, the guest would pay for meals and beverages.
Guests will have the option for hospitalization at one of two private medical facilities that have been set up for COVID-19 patients if needed. The guest will dialogue directly with the doctor in charge and arrangements made for medical evacuation via air ambulance.
All other persons traveling with the guest who tested positive will be asked to undergo a PCR test and quarantine in their accommodation until the test result is returned. If the result is negative, they may discontinue the quarantine, however, if the test result is positive, the relevant protocols (as outlined above) will be implemented.

Passport Requirements
All US Citizens traveling to Jamaica will need a Passport to enter. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after your travel dates to Jamaica. You can't fly internationally if your passport expires within 6 months of your travel date. Plan accordingly as it may take several weeks to renew your passport.

Visa Requirements
Customs Form
You must complete your Immigration and Jamaica Customs form before your arrival to facilitate your entry into Jamaica. Go to https://c5online.pica.gov.jm/apply/ to complete the form. This online form is an alternative to filling out the paper form handed to you on the airplane and will allow you to fast-track through customs ahead of those who filled out a paper form. Just tell the airport staff you filled out an online form and they will direct you to the appropriate customs agent.
Transportation
You will need to arrange your airport transportation to the resort with Round Hill Reservations, reservations@roundhill.com or by calling (800) 972-2159. Please make sure to give your flight information and a list of people you wish to include in your transport.
Airport transfers arranged through Round Hill are at a cost of $45 for 1-4 people from Sangster's International Airport (MBJ) to Round Hill Hotel and Villas. Each additional person is at a cost of $12. Please note these rates are for one way only. For return transfer to the airport, please be sure to check with the front desk the day prior to your departure to confirm your pick up time. You are required to be at the airport 2 hours before the departure time.
*Upon arrival, once you clear customs, please head to Desk #19 (Round Hill Desk) in the arrivals hall where the Round Hill Airport Concierge will lead you to your pre-arranged transport.
FAQs
1.) IS THERE WIFI AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT?
Yes, the resort offers complimentary wifi. You will be given instructions at check in.
2.) WHAT ARE THE ELECTRICITY REQUIREMENTS?
The electricity requirements are the same as the USA. No adapters are required.
3.) Do I need to exchange currency?
No, US dollars are accepted as payment and tips.
4.)WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN NOVEMBER?
As a tropical island, temperatures will range from 75 to 85 degrees F. Expect lots of sunshine, occasional rain showers, and humidity.
5.) WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
In addition to the typical packing list, please remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and most importantly, your passport. We also suggest bringing sneakers. The resort has a beautiful jogging/walking path, as well as a state of the art fitness facility. Additionally, the terrain at the resort is uneven and can be difficult in some places. Please be cognizant of this when selecting your footwear for the different events.
6.) IF I'M STAYING IN A VILLA/VILLA SUITE, IS IT EASY TO GET TO THE MAIN PART OF THE RESORT?
Yes! All Villas are located within walking distance to the main part of the resort. Most guests prefer to walk, but if you require additional assistance in getting around the property, the Bellmen are there to help. Just call the front desk and they will send someone with a golf cart!
7.) DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?
No. Renting a car is not necessary. All wedding events will take place at Round Hill. Once at the Hotel, if you wish to venture out, cabs are readily available to take you wherever you wish to go. If you book an excursion through Round Hill, transportation is typically included in the cost. There are also complimentary shuttles to downtown Montego Bay's shopping district. Additional information will be provided upon check-in.
8.) What do I do when I get off the plane?
As soon as you disembark the aircraft, you will proceed to the Immigration Hall where your arrival will be processed by the immigration staff.
You will then proceed to the Customs hall where you will retrieve your checked luggage and clear customs.
Once you have cleared Customs, proceed to desk #19 (Round Hill Desk) in the arrival hall. Here you will be met by the Round Hill Airport Concierge who will assist you to your transport that will take you to the resort. The airport concierge will wear a mask and will have a supply of disposable sanitizing wipes available.
Drivers will be properly equipped with mask and in possession of alcohol-based sanitizer and sanitizing wipes. Vehicles will be cleaned and sanitized after each trip. Transportation is private; therefore only one party will be accommodated in a vehicle at any given time. Guests must wear their mask during the transfer.
Upon on arrival at the resort, your driver will ask you to either sign the transfer form and charge the ride to your room or pay cash if you so desire.
